My first time having something custom framed, and The Great Frame Up did not disappoint. The art I brought it was on very flimsy paper and I wasn't 100% happy with its initial framing. Alan and Carolyn were so courteous and helpful with finding solutions, no questions asked. Now i've got a gorgeous piece of art perfectly complemented by its gorgeous frame and mat. I couldn't be happier with it! Thanks Alan and Carolyn! Will definitely be back.
I have used this location multiple times I've the past few years and the service is always top notch. The people the own and run the store are very knowledgeable, very friendly and always happy to help no matter how much help you may need! When I pick up my framed items they look great - exactly what I wanted, asked for, and discussed with the associate. Cannot recommend this store highly enough for your framing needs.

If you need something framed in the Decatur/ATL area, this is the place to do it. I have now had 2 pieces of fine art left to them with amazing results. They will take the time and care you need to make sure you end up with what you want. They don’t cut corners to simply get stuff finished and out the door. Best of all, they LISTEN to your input while providing helpful tips along the way.
Although we didn’t buy anything this visit, we spoke with Alan who was so incredibly helpful, kind, and honest. He educated us on our options and spent time to weigh options with us. I highly recommend this business to anyone. They are professional and really want to do right by their clients.
Just had my second fantastic experience at the Great Frame Up! Andy, the owner, has a brilliant eye for design. He patiently took time to show me plenty of frame and mat options he thought would look good with my art, while fitting within my budget. I really appreciated the one-on-one attention and getting to talk art with Andy. He works in framing because he’s truly passionate about it—what more could you ask for when framing a unique, sentimental piece of art?
Andy is the best framer I have seen in Atlanta. He will go above and beyond to make your framing dreams a reality. Me and my dad both are really fond of his framing skills. From regular photo frames to beautifully framed jerseys there is nothing he can’t do! If you have any framing needs Andy is your man!
I have done business with Andy and his talented team at The Great Frame Up in Decatur for several projects. All have turned out better than I could have hoped for. Always able to guide frame and mat selections with ease. Working with these folks is easy. I feel very comfortable recommending this shop for a custom framing job. So glad to have found them.
Andy (the owner) helped us create such a special way to honor my dog who passed away. Incredibly professional, creative, and had amazing ideas on what to exactly do. He took care of everything including printing the photos and was very timely with the order. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back for future projects.
I have had the great pleasure of working with Andy and his team on several occasions to complete a number of framing projects. I have always been so thoroughly impressed by the results and the fantastic job that they have done.
Andy worked with us from the beginning to develop a project that fit our budget and our needs. He shared with us all of our options and offered alternatives in case we had any budget issues.
Andy was never pushy or overly involved, but he did provide great advice and has a very attuned artistic eye. When it came to selecting a frame or mat, he was bursting with impeccable suggestions.
Work was done on-time (early, in one case) and also done extremely well. I have no issues trusting Andy and his team with my artwork and am excited to bring new pieces to him in the future.
We have found our new dedicated framer!
